Tekken 8 Review

Tekken 8 review

So, I have been playing Tekken 8 for quite a while now and this is my impression for it.

Tekken 8 is the eighth mainline installment in the Tekken franchise, it is a 2.5D fighting game released in the year 1995. Now, Tekken has established itself as one of the best fighting games ever created and every game in the franchise is beloved by the everyone who plays them.

Due to this, the expectations for Tekken 8 was high, and fans were expecting something new and better. And on January 26, 2024 Tekken 8 released. And unlike most games released in the recent times which can not hold up to their expectations, Tekken 8 did.

Tekken 8 is a good game with everything you can expect from a Tekken game, it holds up to its expectations and in some ways surpasses them. From graphics to soundtrack of the game, everything is top-notch. The story is somewhat mediocre but the gameplay makes up for it. There are total of 32 fighters in the game for now with 3 new fighters introduced in the game. Every character has their unique fighting style and many fighting moves in their arsenal.

This game not only features a story mode but an arcade mode which has its own different story, and inclusion of character episodes, ball mode, ghost battles etc has made this a full package with so much to do.

But this game is not perfect, while these problems are minor and can be neglected, I think fixing them will make give more rating to this game.

Overall, I will suggest that everyone should play this game with their friends and family, even if you have never tried a fighting game before or do not like them, give Tekken 8 a shot. It will be worth it.
